❚❚❚ ＢＡＳＩＣＳ． ■ NAME: 'Sombra' ■ CANON: Overwatch *Infiltration canon point ■ AGE: 30 ■ MINI-BIO: Sombra was born thirty years ago during the Omnic Crisis, when robots rose up against their human creators without warning. The threat was unparalleled, the damage widespread and it was only thanks to an elite, worldwide cadre of soldiers and specialists that machines were overthrown and the war ended. Still, for Sombra and many children like her, recovery was never so instantaneous: she was left an orphan in a city already struggling to knit its own wounds. And hey, when you're just another hungry mouth to feed in the crowd, survival instincts are the best friend you never knew you had. So she adapted. Learned how to press buttons to get what she wanted— and more importantly how to metaphorically do the same when it came to the people around her. What she couldn't outright hack, she cheated, she lied to, she played whatever role best suited her in the moment that made living life more than just bearable. More importantly, every piece of information— every new chunk of technology added to her repertoire only brought her closer to unraveling the mystery of just what had happened all those years ago. And who was really responsible for it. But since these are just the cliffnotes: she's curious, cocky, selfsure to the point of arrogance whether or not she's actually got the upper hand, gr8 at hacking, considers 'friends' a stand-in word for 'resources', and never fails to do everything and anything she can to know as much as humanly possible about the world around her. Because somewhere out there, somebody's pulling all the strings - and she's not here to play by their rules. ■ LANGUAGE: Spanish (Español Mexicano), English ■ ABILITIES: ▲ Hacking - Using her neural interface and physical modifications, Sombra is capable of latching onto technology from a distance (20ft or less) and either hijacking or completely shutting down its functions. Despite this, she can't go so far as to alter a device's primary function or form. Also important to note is that it takes a certain amount of mental concentration to sustain. If Sombra is wounded, or her ability to think clearly is somehow compromised, the connection will instantly break. ▲ Translocation - Via a planted device called a 'translocator', Sombra is capable of teleporting from one location to another in an instant. That said, it's not a perpetual free ride: she can only teleport -to- wherever the translocator is currently planted. So if she threw the translocator over a wall and then teleported to it, she wouldn't then be able to just teleport right back over the wall again. ▲ Invisibility - Digital camouflage masks Sombra from sight. This does not counter infrared or body signature vision abilities, etc. For every ten minutes of full stealth, Sombra must recover with a few minutes' break.

❚❚❚ ＩＣ． ■ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: No arguments on that front, just don't expect much from Sombra in return that's either invested or sincere— she's got a thirst for the truth, and let's be real: personal everything gets in the way of that. ■ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go for it, just give me an OOC heads up if things start to look fatal. ■ RELATIONSHIPS: She's got secrets to keep; her interest in anything emotionally compromising isn't high. That said, feel free to try - who knows, if Saturday morning cartoons are to be believed, the power of love can overcome anything. Even obnoxious hackers. But then again, why would you even want to?? ■ MEDICAL INFORMATION: She's human with a good number of cybernetic implants running along the length of her spine and skull.
